Abstract: Education systems are evolving rapidly to prepare learners for a world that demands sustainability, global awareness, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship. In recent years, educational institutions have introduced Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Global Citizenship Education (GCED) into curriculum planning to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and values required to address modern social, environmental, and global challenges. Although curriculum planning methods have improved significantly, most existing approaches still depend on manual reviews, expert committee discussions, accreditation reports, learner feedback, and periodic curriculum revisions. These methods are often time-consuming and make it difficult to continuously evaluate curriculum effectiveness as educational needs change. In addition, many existing curriculum management systems analyze academic information from separate sources without fully connecting learner performance, competency development, sustainability goals, curriculum alignment, and institutional quality indicators. As a result, curriculum gaps may remain unnoticed, revisions may be delayed, and educational decisions may rely more on experience than on evidence generated from academic data. The present invention provides an Artificial Intelligence System for Curriculum Optimization in Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship Education, which integrates curriculum data acquisition, intelligent feature engineering, machine learning-based prediction, adaptive curriculum optimization, cloud-based educational monitoring, and continuous feedback within a unified framework. The invention generates educational indicators including the Curriculum Alignment Score (CAS), Sustainability Integration Index (SII), Global Citizenship Competency Score (GCCS), Learning Outcome Achievement Index (LOAI), and Curriculum Effectiveness Rating (CER) to evaluate curriculum quality in a structured manner. These indicators are analyzed using a machine learning prediction engine to identify curriculum gaps, estimate learner achievement, evaluate competency coverage, and recommend curriculum improvements. The framework continuously learns from learner performance, curriculum reviews, faculty observations, accreditation findings, and stakeholder feedback, allowing recommendations to improve over time. The proposed invention supports evidence-based curriculum planning, strengthens sustainability and global citizenship integration, improves curriculum quality, enhances learner outcomes, simplifies accreditation activities, and enables educational institutions to develop responsive and future-ready academic programs through continuous intelligent optimization.
