Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for improving artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) positioning. In an aspect, a terminal device receives, from a network device, a request for channel measurements of the terminal device and a first information on a plurality of transmission and reception point (TRP) pattern models stored in the terminal device. The terminal device transmits to the network device, the channel measurements and the first information. The terminal device receives from the network device, a second information on a target TRP pattern model of the plurality of TRP pattern models for positioning. In this way, the trade-off among model performance, model complexity and computational complexity can be achieved. Also, an appropriate TRP pattern model for positioning at a current wireless environment of the terminal device can be determined, thereby improving AI/ML positioning accuracy.
