Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable artificial intelligence enabled electronic device for personalized tourism planning and management, comprising a ruggedised handheld housing enclosing a system-on-chip with central and neural processing units, non-transitory memory storing a trained hybrid machine learning model combining transformer-based natural language understanding, collaborative filtering recommendation and reinforcement learning itinerary optimisation sub-models, a dual-frequency global navigation satellite system receiver, cellular and Wi-Fi communication modules, biometric sensors for heart rate, skin temperature and galvanic skin response, environmental sensors, a touchscreen display, an augmented reality rendering engine, a rechargeable battery and a solar auxiliary charger. The device generates personalised itineraries in under forty-five seconds, re-plans dynamically in under ten seconds in response to fatigue, stress, weather, traffic or budget deviations, operates offline using quantised model weights and cached dictionaries in over twenty languages, and preserves privacy through federated learning.
