Abstract: [052] The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence enabled multimodal forensic radiology system for estimating human age using skeletal and dental imaging. The system receives skeletal images and dental images of a human subject, standardises the images, verifies image suitability, extracts skeletal maturity features, extracts dental maturity features, and combines the extracted features through a multimodal feature fusion engine. An age estimation engine generates an estimated age, probable age range, confidence score, and age band probability, while an uncertainty assessment engine determines reliability based on image quality, anatomical completeness, model confidence, calibration profile, and cross-modality agreement. An explainability engine identifies anatomical regions and maturity indicators contributing to the estimate, and an audit module stores traceable records of image processing, model version, calibration information, and report generation. The system generates a structured forensic report suitable for expert review and legal use, thereby improving reproducibility, transparency, and reliability in human age estimation.
