MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621092378 A) filed by Jyotish Dinkar Werulkar on July 30, 2026, for Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Internet Of Things And Multi-Sensor Based Autonomous Crop And Weather Monitoring System For Intelligent Farm Management.
Inventor includes Jyotish Dinkar Werulkar.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence-enabled Internet of Things (IoT) and multi-sensor based autonomous crop and weather monitoring system for intelligent farm management. The system integrates distributed agricultural sensing nodes, edge computing, artificial intelligence analytics, localized weather prediction, sensor fusion, predictive crop health assessment, and automated decision-making into a unified precision agriculture platform. Multiple environmental, atmospheric, soil, and crop parameters are continuously monitored and analyzed using machine learning algorithms to predict irrigation requirements, disease occurrence, pest infestation, nutrient deficiency, crop growth progression, harvest readiness, and localized weather variations. The generated recommendations may further activate automated irrigation systems, greenhouse controllers, fertilizer dispensers, and farm equipment. The invention improves agricultural productivity, optimizes resource utilization, reduces water and fertilizer consumption, enhances crop protection, and enables sustainable autonomous farm management through intelligent predictive analytics.
