Abstract: The present invention an artificial intelligence driven adaptive teacher competency assessment and professional development system integrates classroom sensing, instructional artifact analysis, learner outcome data, and structured feedback to generate evidence-based competency profiles. A classroom acquisition unit captures synchronized audio, video, interaction, and lesson-event data and performs local anonymization and feature extraction. A competency engine maps extracted features to a configurable teacher competency ontology and calculates competency scores, confidence values, bias indicators, and skill-gap priorities. A personalization engine selects development modules, simulated teaching exercises, mentoring activities, and assessment tasks according to identified gaps, workload, learning pace, and institutional requirements. A closed-loop adaptation module measures post-training performance, compares evidence with baseline profiles, and modifies subsequent development pathways. Secure identity control, encrypted storage, role-based dashboards, audit records, and model-governance functions protect sensitive information. The system provides adaptive, measurable, and continuously updated professional development while reducing subjective evaluation and administrative effort across educational institutions and teaching environments.
