Abstract: The present invention provides a smart thermal imaging system safety monitoring system for chemical and petrochemical plants. The system uses the contactless thermal imaging camera to observe the temperature of the plant equipment such as reactors, pipelines, valves, pumps, compressors, and storage tanks. The system collects all the information and data and processes it in real time by edge computing unit to ensure perfect monitoring. An AI-based analysis module detects temperature changes heat patterns, and the hotspot areas to detect possible risks at an early stages risk. Based on the collected data results, the system identifies the condition as safe, warning, or critical. When a risk is detected, alert message is sent through alarms, warning lights, and control room notification.
