MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621090502 A) filed by Marwadi University on July 24, 2026, for Artificial Intelligence Based Synthetic Data Generation System.

Inventors include Ankit Kumar Singh; and Parth Parmar.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: An artificial intelligence based synthetic data generation system, comprises a differentially private causal discovery module 101 to determine causal relationships between variables of an input tabular dataset and to construct a directed acyclic graph representing the identified relationships, a structural equation learning module 102 to determine functional relationships between causally related variables and to model residual uncertainty as parameterized statistical distributions, a causal guided diffusion generator 103 to generate synthetic tabular data, a differential privacy training module 104 to train the diffusion generator 103, a noise aware variational abduction module 105 to compute a posterior distribution over latent variables conditioned on observed data and known privacy noise parameters, a counterfactual inference module 106 to propagate user-specified interventions, a sensitivity based privacy budget manager 107 to dynamically allocate and deduct privacy budget based on causal path sensitivity, and a secure query interface 108 to allow interactive counterfactual analysis.
