Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of an AI-driven intelligent classroom system that seeks to increase engagement and track student progress within educational institutions. The system utilizes various data modalities including video, audio, biometrics, and LMS logs to determine the levels of attention, participation, and affect in a classroom setting. Machine learning algorithms such as computer vision techniques to detect gaze and gestures, audio analysis to gauge participation, and time series analyses to capture physiological indicators can be used to quantify engagement levels on an individual basis, as well as offer personalized prompts to instructors based on aggregate statistics. A privacy-respecting pipeline will ensure on-device processing, differential privacy, and role-based access control when dealing with student data. Finally, dashboard visualizations of engagement metrics offer actionable insights for instructors, while automated interventions provide personalized feedback to students. FIG.1
