Abstract: ABSTRACT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED PREDICTIVE QUANTUM ERROR MITIGATION SYSTEM FOR NOISE-AWARE QUANTUM COMPUTATION The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based predictive quantum error mitigation system (100) for noise-aware quantum computation. The system comprises a quantum processing system (102), quantum behaviour monitoring module (110), historical behaviour repository (112), real-time data acquisition module (114), data processing module (116), AI/ML prediction engine (118), mitigation selection engine (126) and adaptive mitigation controller (128). Historical behavioural information and current behavioural information associated with a quantum processing system are processed by the AI/ML prediction engine to generate a predicted error condition (122) associated with a quantum computation. An error-mitigation strategy is selected according to the predicted error condition and is configured and/or modified before or during execution of the quantum computation. Execution information may subsequently be incorporated into historical behavioural information for subsequent prediction and mitigation selection. The system thereby provides a closed-loop predictive architecture integrating quantum-system monitoring, AI-assisted error prediction, adaptive error mitigation and quantum execution control.
