The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A smart automated nitrogen cabinet for protecting moisture-sensitive components and precision instruments from humidity-induced degradation is disclosed herein. The system comprises three integrated subsystems: a sensing subsystem configured to continuously monitor internal relative humidity, temperature, and air quality, a control subsystem configured to process real-time sensor telemetry and synchronize data to a cloud-connected mobile dashboard for remote monitoring; and a purging subsystem configured to actuate air pumps to displace humid air and maintain internal humidity below a defined threshold. A reed switch safety interlock interrupts active purge cycles upon cabinet access to prevent gas wastage. An onboard AI model learns the cabinet's humidity recovery behaviour, enabling predictive leak detection and adaptive purge optimization, thereby distinguishing the present invention from conventional desiccant-based and thermoelectric storage solutions.
