Inventor includes Ronakkumar Shah.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT [501] A computer-implemented system and method, designated AI-BPO, for the systematic identification, classification, and application of artificial intelligence (AI)-based methods to business processes is disclosed. The system comprises a literature ingestion and screening module, a natural language processing (NLP)-based classification engine, a structured knowledge repository, a business process mapping module, and a recommendation and optimization engine, operatively coupled to one another. [502] The literature ingestion and screening module retrieves, filters, and screens scholarly and technical documents pertaining to AI-based business process methods according to a defined systematic review protocol comprising pre-specified inclusion and exclusion criteria, thereby generating a curated document corpus. The NLP-based classification engine extracts and classifies AI method types, business process domains, implementation contexts, and reported outcomes from the curated corpus using machine learning-based text classification, named entity recognition, and topic modelling techniques, and populates the structured knowledge repository therewith. [503] The business process mapping module correlates classified AI methods with defined business process categories using a process taxonomy, and the recommendation and optimization engine generates one or more ranked AI-method recommendations for a target business process based on similarity scoring against the structured knowledge repository. The invention enables automated, reproducible, and continuously updatable identification of AI-based methods applicable to specific business process optimization objectives, thereby reducing manual literature-review effort and improving the consistency, transparency, and comprehensiveness of AI-method selection for business process transformation initiatives.
