Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based smart charging management system for electric vehicles (EVs), designed to optimize charging operations while ensuring efficient utilization of electrical energy, minimizing charging costs, and maintaining grid stability. The proposed system employs AI algorithms to analyze real-time data, including battery State of Charge (SoC), battery health, user charging preferences, electricity tariff variations, renewable energy availability, grid load conditions, and historical charging patterns. Based on these parameters, the intelligent controller dynamically schedules and regulates the charging process by determining the optimal charging time, charging rate, and energy source. The system further predicts charging demand using machine learning models and enables adaptive load balancing to prevent grid overloading during peak demand periods. In addition, the invention supports vehicle-to-grid (V2G) operation, renewable energy integration, and cloud-based remote monitoring through Internet of Things (IoT) communication. The proposed AI-driven charging management framework enhances battery life, improves energy efficiency, reduces operational costs, and facilitates sustainable EV charging infrastructure. The invention is applicable to residential, commercial, workplace, and public EV charging stations, contributing to the development of intelligent and smart energy management systems.
