Abstract: The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence-based business process management system and method for intelligent visualization, automated workflow development, real-time monitoring, predictive analysis, and adaptive optimization of enterprise business processes. The system integrates artificial intelligence, machine learning, process mining, predictive analytics, and workflow automation within a unified framework to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. Business process data are collected from heterogeneous enterprise sources, including enterprise resource planning systems, customer relationship management platforms, cloud services, databases, Internet of Things devices, and other organizational applications. The collected data are pre-processed and analysed to automatically generate and refine business process models while identifying workflow dependencies and execution patterns. The invention provides dynamic visualization of business workflows through interactive dashboards displaying process status, resource utilization, task progression, performance metrics, and operational alerts in real time. A monitoring mechanism continuously detects bottlenecks, execution delays, anomalies, and compliance deviations during workflow execution. A predictive analytics engine forecasts process completion time, workload distribution, resource requirements, and potential operational risks while recommending optimized workflow configurations and resource allocation strategies. An explainable artificial intelligence framework provides interpretable reasoning for automated predictions and optimization decisions, thereby improving transparency and user confidence. The system further supports continuous learning by updating analytical models using newly generated operational data, enabling adaptation to changing business environments. The proposed invention enhances workflow agility, resource utilization, operational transparency, and organizational productivity while reducing manual intervention, process inefficiencies, and operational risks across manufacturing, healthcare, finance, logistics, retail, government, and other enterprise sectors.
