Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based virtual try-on system integrated within a two-way switchable mirror, configured to provide real-time visualization of garments on a user with enhanced accuracy and realism. The system utilizes an image acquisition module and an edge computing unit to perform body detection, pose estimation, and three-dimensional mapping of the user. Based on the generated body representation, selected garments are digitally simulated and rendered onto the user’s reflection, adapting dynamically to body contours, posture, and movement. The two-way mirror operates in dual modes, functioning as a conventional reflective surface in an inactive state and as an interactive display during virtual try-on operations. The system performs all major computations locally using edge-based processing, thereby reducing latency, eliminating dependency on continuous internet connectivity, and enhancing user data privacy. An intuitive user interaction interface enables seamless control of garment selection and visualization. The invention provides a real-time, contactless, and scalable solution for virtual garment trials, suitable for deployment in retail environments, personal spaces, and remote access installations.
