Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence assisted smart attendance and student safety system using RFID and IoT for automated attendance management and realtime student monitoring. The system comprises an RFID tag/card for student identification, an RFID reader for attendance capture, a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, a GPS receiver for real-time location tracking, and an ESP32-based controller for data processing and communication. Attendance and tracking information are transmitted through a wireless communication module to a cloud server for storage, analysis, and remote access. The invention further integrates an AI-powered chat assistant that enables parents and administrators to retrieve attendance status, student location, and estimated arrival information through natural language queries. Artificial Intelligence algorithms analyze attendance and movement patterns to detect anomalies and generate alerts. The proposed invention improves security, prevents proxy attendance, enhances student safety, and provides an intelligent, scalable, and user-friendly IoT-based monitoring solution for educational institutions.
