MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541000945 A) filed by Vruksh Innovations Private Limited on January 04, 2025, for Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Based Ozone Sterilization System For Sensitive Medical Devices.
Inventors include Girish Bhushan; and Vijay S.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an advanced ozone sterilization system enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to provide effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly sterilization for medical and dental instruments. The system comprises a sterilization chamber equipped with sensors to monitor critical environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, ozone concentration, and pressure. An ozone generator introduces ozone into the chamber, while an AI control module processes real-time data from the sensors, adjusting ozone concentration, exposure time, and other conditions to optimize sterilization effectiveness based on instrument type and environmental feedback. Residual ozone is converted to oxygen through an ozone destructor, ensuring safety before release. Machine learning algorithms continuously improve the system by learning from previous cycles and microbiological testing feedback, enabling predictive maintenance and adaptive control. This AI-driven approach offers a safer, faster, and more sustainable alternative to conventional sterilization methods, such as ethylene oxide and steam, suitable for sensitive and complex instruments in diverse healthcare settings.
