Abstract: ABSTRACT A multisensory anxiety-reduction device termed "Aroma Shades" is disclosed. The device integrates a cooling gel-based eye mask with a customized nasal hood fabricated from biocompatible 3D-printed PETG material. The eye mask provides a soothing cooling effect to reduce physiological stress and visual stimuli, while the nasal hood incorporates ventilation openings and internal slots for aromatic strips that deliver controlled aromatherapy. This dual-modality approach provides sensory distraction through tactile cooling and olfactory stimulation, thereby improving patient compliance and reducing dental anxiety in pediatric populations. The device is lightweight, reusable, customizable, and compatible with routine dental procedures.
