MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641082185 A) filed by R. M. K. Engineering College on July 03, 2026, for Aqua Track: Intelligent Iot-Based Real-Time Water Quality Monitoring And Predictive Contamination Alert System.

Inventors include Ms P Malini Anand Raj; and Mr Deepak Bathirachalam.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses AquaTrack, an intelligent IoT-based water quality monitoring and predictive contamination alert system for continuous assessment of water resources. The system integrates multiple sensors including pH, turbidity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, and conductivity sensors to collect real-time water quality information. An ESP32-based processing unit acquires and processes sensor data and transmits the information to a cloud analytics platform through wireless communication networks. The cloud platform performs data storage, visualization, contamination assessment, and predictive analytics using machine learning algorithms. Adaptive threshold mechanisms dynamically evaluate water quality conditions and reduce false alarms. Upon detection of unsafe conditions or predicted contamination events, the system automatically generates prioritized notifications through mobile applications, SMS, email, and web dashboards. The invention enables early contamination detection, rapid response, environmental protection, and sustainable water resource management. The system is scalable, cost-effective, and suitable for smart city, industrial, municipal, and environmental monitoring applications.
