MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411094954 A) filed by Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research, An Indian on December 02, 2024, for Aptamer For Detection Of Aflatoxin M1 And Process For Preparation Thereof.
Inventors include Koteswara Rao Vamkudoth; Amrita Sinharay; Ganesh Muralidhar Jadhav; Pranay Jalindar Yadav; Narendra Yeshwant Kadoo; and Bhushan Pradosh Chaudhari.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an aptamer for detection of Aflatoxin M1 mycotoxin where the aptamers comprise nucleotide sequence in any one or more of SEQ ID. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, a homologous sequence or a functional fragment thereof. The present invention also provides a process for preparing said aptamers for detection of Aflatoxin M1 mycotoxin. The present invention also provides a kit comprising said aptamers for detection of Aflatoxin M1 mycotoxin and an electrochemical device comprising aptamers for detection of Aflatoxin M1 mycotoxin in food products.
