MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521016153 A) filed by Paresh Pramod Naik on February 25, 2025, for Apparatus For Eustachian Tube Pressure Equalization And A Method Thereof.
Inventor includes Paresh Pramod Naik.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: AN APPARATUS FOR EUSTACHIAN TUBE PRESSURE EQUALIZATION Disclosed is an apparatus (100) for eustachian tube pressure equalization. The apparatus (100) includes a nasal applicator (102) configured for insertion into a user's nostril and adapted to provide an airtight seal for controlled delivery of airflow. The nasal applicator (102) is operatively connected to an airflow column (104), which facilitates the transfer of air from the nasal applicator (102) to a balloon (106) positioned at the distal end of the airflow column (104). The balloon (106) is configured to inflate upon receiving airflow, generating controlled pressure sufficient to open the Eustachian tube and equalize middle ear pressure. The apparatus (100) provides a safe, effective, and user-friendly solution to address Eustachian tube dysfunction without requiring invasive procedures. In some embodiments, the components of the apparatus (100) may be detachable and made from biocompatible materials, ensuring ease of use, hygiene, and reusability.
