At least one cartridge (104(N)) includes a housing (202), a container (206), and a driving unit (300). A portion (236) at a base wall (204B) of the housing (202) defines a dispensing aperture (238) which automatically propels the items (212) into a dispensing guide member (108) for automatically dispensing the items (212) onto a conveyor (110) that transports the items (212) through a gravity chute (112) into the packaging unit (114) to pack the items (212).
