Abstract: The present disclosure proposes an apparatus (100) for automated anti-fog and rain protection of vehicle exterior rearview mirrors. The apparatus (100) comprises a front fixed frame (102), a locking assembly (108), a casing (116), a rain sensor (120), a humidity sensor (122), a controller (124), a heating element (126), an airflow channel (128), a linear motor (134), a screw shaft (136), a support block (140), and a drive motor (142). The rain sensor (120) and the humidity sensor (122) detect rain, fog, mist, and humidity conditions and transmit corresponding signals to the controller (124). Responsive to detected environmental conditions, the controller (124) activates the heating element (126), the drive motor (142), and the linear motor (134) for generating heated airflow across a mirror surface (10) for moisture-removal operation. The apparatus (100) enhances overall operational safety and efficiency compared to conventional mirror protection solutions.
