The apparatus (10) has multiple motion devices (38), each of which has an object holder (44) for holding an object (12) and a magnetic force unit (40) for magnetic interaction with the multiple mag-netic force segments (36) for driving the respective motion device (38). The magnetic force units (40) are each arranged outside relative to the closed path curve for movement on a circulating drive path (A).
