Abstract: Described herein is an automatic apparatus (100) and a method for printing and cooking on a hot conveyor setup. The apparatus comprises a primary conveyor belt assembly (102) comprising a primary conveyor belts (102a) mounted on a plurality of rollers (102b). A material dispensing assembly (108) is located at a first end of the primary conveyor belt assembly for printing a semi-solid liquid material (1a) onto pre-defined printing positions of the primary conveyor belt when the pre-defined printing positions pass through the first end. Heating assemblies (104) are provided for heating the pre-defined printing positions through hot plates (106) for cooking the material printed on the pre-defined printing positions when the pre-defined printing positions align above the heating assemblies. A scraping unit is provided adjacent to the primary conveyor belt at a dispensing location for dispensing a cooked food item (1c). Refer Fig. 1
