Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for pre-placement cargo load verification within a cargo loading space. The apparatus (100) includes a compression load cell (102) configured to convert a mechanical force generated by a cargo item at an intended placement position into an analog voltage output signal. An analog summation circuit (104) sums the analog voltage output signal with a stored cumulative voltage value to produce a projected total voltage signal. An analog comparator circuit (106) compares the projected total voltage signal against a set of threshold voltages and generates a placement consequence signal in one of a plurality of states. A visual indicator assembly (108) renders a color-coded visual symbol corresponding to the generated state before the cargo item contacts the cargo loading space floor. FIG. 1
