MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621053525 A) filed by Sage University on April 27, 2026, for Apparatus And Method For Network Security Monitoring And Vernacular Alert Delivery.
Inventors include Ms. Sakshi Agrawal; Dr. Prashant Jain; Prof. Himanshu Jaldoiya; and Ankit Suthar.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to network security monitoring and vernacular alert delivery. The apparatus (100) includes a network packet interface circuit (102) operating in all-packet reception mode, a cellular communication circuit (104) for text message transmission, and a microcontroller (110) maintaining threat signature data, a phrase library and recipient mobile telephone numbers (116) in internal storage (108). A timing circuit (106) transitions the microcontroller (110) between sleep and active states, with the network packet interface circuit (102) buffering packet data during sleep periods. During each active state, the microcontroller (110) retrieves buffered packet data, compares packet header information against locally stored threat signature data, and generates security alert records upon matched threats. The microcontroller (110) retrieves localized alert message text (206) from the phrase library in a specified Indian language and transmits alerts via the cellular communication circuit (104), enabling delivery to non-technical operators when broadband internet connectivity is unavailable.
