The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A multi-axis pavement permeability testing apparatus comprises a multi-chambered flow distribution system configured to enable simultaneous horizontal and vertical fluid flow through a pavement specimen. The system includes a Main Central Chamber for containing the specimen, an Inflow Chamber and Outflow Chamber for horizontal flow measurement, and a Plenum Chamber for vertical flow collection. An adjustable tilt frame with four-point screw gauge lift supports the chamber system and establishes a predetermined cross-slope angle of 2% to 5% replicating road camber geometry. A top-mounted loading assembly comprising a hydraulic actuator, loading shaft, and rigid top plate applies continuous vertical compressive load to the specimen during fluid flow testing. A top-integrated inlet valve mounted on the top plate introduces fluid vertically through the loading interface. The apparatus enables measurement of anisotropic hydraulic conductivity under synchronized vehicular loading and geometric camber conditions, accurately replicating field drainage performance.
