MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611100542 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 18, 2026, for Apparatus And Method For Multi-Angle Exercise.
Inventors include Disha Singh; and Harsh Srivastava.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A smart wall-mounted exercise pulley apparatus (100) is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a mounting frame (101), a vertically extending guide assembly (102), a movable carriage module (103), and a pulley head assembly (104) having a dual axis gimbal mechanism configured to orient a pulley wheel in multiple spatial directions. A flexible tensile member (105) is operatively coupled to a controllable resistance generation assembly (106). An angular positioning mechanism (107) and a position verification sensor (108) ensure that resistance is enabled only when a selected pulley orientation is securely locked. A sensor suite (109) including load and angular position sensors provides exercise-related data to a controller (110), which dynamically adjusts resistance based on detected movement parameters and pulley orientation. The apparatus enables generation of selectable three-dimensional resistance vectors, exercise performance monitoring, corrective exercise guidance, and automatic activation of safety functions upon detection of unsafe operating conditions.
