Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to monitoring fermentation parameters in facilities experiencing unreliable grid electricity. The apparatus (100) includes a charge controller (102) operatively connected to a rechargeable battery (104), where the charge controller (102) uses a thermistor to measure battery surface temperature and reduce charging voltage by a predetermined value per degree above a reference temperature. A GSM modem (106) operates on a cellular network, and a hardware processor (108) receives fermentation parameter readings from a temperature sensor (110) and a pH sensor (112) at a first sampling interval, transmitting readings as SMS text messages formatted in a regional language. Upon battery voltage falling below a predetermined threshold, the apparatus (100) concurrently increases sampling and transmission intervals while expanding a circular buffer retention window, reducing sensor read cycles and GSM modem (106) activation cycles per unit time to conserve power while maintaining continuous fermentation monitoring.
