The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT An apparatus for forensic acquisition of voice evidence includes an analog front-end (102) that receives acoustic electrical signals and delivers pre- processed electrical signals via a branched output path to both an acoustic feature extractor (104) and a hardware processor (106) before analog-to-digital conversion. The acoustic feature extractor (104) generates spectrogram data and extracts formant frequency values from the pre-processed electrical signals. The hardware processor (106) digitizes the pre-processed electrical signals into digitized voice signals and combines them with the spectrogram data and formant frequency values into a time- synchronized evidence block. The hardware processor (106) computes a cryptographic hash value for each evidence block, incorporating the hash of the immediately preceding block. The hardware processor (106) then programs the time-synchronized evidence block and associated cryptographic hash value into an internal one-time- programmable memory with hardware-level write-locking, producing an integrity-verifiable forensic voice evidence record resistant to tampering or post-acquisition modification.
