The instructions, when executed individually or collectively by the at least one processor, instruct the apparatus to: transmit an RIC control message including a radio access network (RAN) configuration structure to an E2 node; and receive, from the E2 node, an RIC control acknowledge message responding to the RIC control message. The RAN configuration structure may include parameters for energy saving. The parameters may include at least one of discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration information and discontinuous transmission (DTX) configuration information of a cell related to the E2 node.
