The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to electronic voting apparatus. The apparatus (100) includes a base enclosure (102) having integral latches (104), each with a breakable tab (204) that fractures upon snap release to produce visible tamper evidence. A main controller circuit board (108) is mounted within the base enclosure (102) and supports a hot-swappable socket (112). A removable secure element carrier (116) storing election-specific cryptographic key material mates with the hot- swappable socket (112) via tool-less insertion and extraction. An integrated ballot and verification assembly (120) combines a thermal printer (124) generating printed voter verification slips (214) with a transmissive display panel (122) that displays voter instructions in an opaque state (216) and enables viewing of verification slips (214) in a transparent state (218). Tool-less snap release of the base enclosure (102) exposes the hot-swappable socket (112) and integrated ballot and verification assembly (120) for complete field serviceability without tools. FIG. 1
