Abstract: When rotorcraft operating from ship deck, especially in adverse condition, due to instability of landing surface and high winds which combines to generate an undesirable lifting force from rotor. This resultant force will yield in instability of rotorcraft while landing, to overcome the minimum setting a variable negative thrust can be achieved by operating the collective lever (10). This invention relates to controls for helicopters and more particularly to an improved collective lever (10) is stopped by wedge (30) mounted by spring-loaded pin (22), by overcoming spring (20) force. Collective lever (10) can be further lowered down to low pitch position until the restriction offered by the stopper pin (12) i.e minimum range (Y) results in negative thrust to the main rotor blades of rotorcraft which is useful for slope landing / ship deck landing to keep the rotorcraft pressed to the landing area.
