Abstract: The present invention provides an antimicrobial combination comprising three different antimicrobial agents The first antimicrobial agent is meropenem or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof; the second antimicrobial agent is selected from zidovudine, doxycycline, and pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof; and the third antimicrobial agent is selected from fosfomycin, levofloxacin, polymyxin E, polymyxin B, and pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof; provided the combination is not (i) meropenem or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, (ii) doxycycline or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, and (iii) polymyxin E/B or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof.
