MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511072628 A) filed by Pulkit Ahuja; and Deeksha Raheja on August 06, 2025, for Anti Water-Logging Streetlight Or Unipole System And Method For Autonomous Excess Waterlogging Mitigation Thereby’.

Inventor includes Pulkit Ahuja.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A pole-integrated system (100) removes surface water through circumferentially distributed inlet sectors feeding a debris separation chamber (106) and a pump assembly (112). Respective isolation valves separate sector flow channels from the chamber. A selector-valve assembly connects the pump outlet to an outfall conduit during drainage or to a selected branch of a backflush manifold during cleaning. From sector water-head or pressure and downstream flow or pressure signals, a controller (130) identifies an obstructed sector, isolates that sector, and directs a pump-generated pressure pulse through its branch while another sector remains connected to the pump inlet. The same pump thereby performs drainage and selective intake clearing without disabling all sectors. A sealed barrier assembly (126) separates wet and dry electrical compartments and may include a monitored interstitial leakage space. The system is suited to streetlight, smart-pole, traffic-control, communication, and other public-utility locations. FIG. 1
