MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541029041 A) filed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited on March 27, 2025, for Anti-Torque Control System For Helicopter.
Inventors include Mohamed Hassan Basari N M; and Dr. Prashanth K R.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The control of an anti-torque system blades is configured to transfer control input to the control surfaces. A control rod assembly (29) first end extends through gearbox, second end of control tube assembly (29) connects to control tube assembly (5) first end, then control tube assembly (5) second end connects to spider assembly (7) first end, then spider assembly (7) second end connects to pitch link assembly (14) first end, then pitch link assembly (14) second end connects to first end of pitch horn assembly (7A) and pitch horn assembly (7A) second end connects to blade pairs (2,2A,2B), thereby, overall assembly transfers the control movement received at the first end of control rod assembly (29) eye end (29a) to blade or blade pairs (2A,2B) to alter the pitch angle. Over all, proposed invention transfers the control input received at non-rotating eye end (29a) to rotating blades (2).
