The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a Biometric SIM Ejection System for handheld devices that restricts unauthorized ejection of the SIM card. The system integrates a biometric sensor (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition) within the device to capture and authenticate the user's biometric data. Upon an attempt to eject the SIM card, the microcontroller verifies the biometric data against a stored template. If the authentication is successful, a signal is sent to a motorized ejection mechanism to eject the SIM card tray. The system enhances security by preventing unauthorized access or tampering with the SIM card. Additional features include a device auto-lock upon failed authentication, location tracking, and camera activation to capture images in case of suspicious activity. An emergency SOS alert is triggered after multiple failed attempts, sending location data and images to predefined emergency contacts. The system provides advanced security for handheld devices.
