MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531015928 A) filed by Tata Steel Limited on February 24, 2025, for Anti-Static Fiber Reinforced Polymer (frp) Composite Grating Material And A Process Of Preparation Thereof.

Abstract: “ANTI-STATIC FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER (FRP) COMPOSITE GRATING MATERIAL AND A PROCESS OF PREPARATION THEREOF” ABSTRACT 5 A method of forming an anti-static Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite grating material. The method includes mixing a carbon-based material in a range of 0.02 to 1% with a thermoset resin material in a range of 65-75%, via a high-speed shear mixer, to form a homogeneous dispersion. The method further includes 10 degassing the homogeneous dispersion to remove entrapped air. The method further includes mixing an accelerator solution in a range of 0.5-2% and a catalyst solution in a range of 0.5-2%, to the degassed homogeneous dispersion, to form a final resin mixture. The method further includes laying a continuous fiber material in a range of 25-35% on a grating mold, pouring final resin mixture on the continuous fiber 15 material in the grating mold and curing to form the anti-static Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite grating material.
