The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an anti-dive and anti-squat double wishbone suspension system specifically designed for electric vehicles. The invention addresses the altered weight distribution arising from the placement of battery packs, which conventional suspension systems fail to accommodate. The proposed suspension geometry employs a shorter upper control arm inclined upwardly and a lengthened lower control arm inclined downwardly, thereby enhancing camber control, reducing track width variation, and improving tyre grip during cornering. The system offers stability against forward dipping during braking and rearward squatting during acceleration, while also minimising bump steer and body roll. By optimising mounting positions and arm lengths, the suspension ensures better load distribution, durability, and improved ride comfort. The invention further supports flexibility in material choice for structural optimisation, making it suitable for a wide range of electric vehicles including passenger cars, SUVs, and performance models.
