Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of producing a novel anti-CDH3 humanized antibody and providing, by using the antibody, an (anti-CDH3 humanized antibody)-drug conjugate capable of more efficiently killing CDH3-expressing cancer cells. According to the present invention, either of the following antibodies is provided. (1) An anti-CDH3 humanized antibody having a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1 and a light chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2; or (2) an anti-CDH3 humanized antibody having a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 3 and a light chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 4.
