The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an antenna assembly (200) including an inflatable parabolic reflector (100) having a balloon component made of polyamide layers (102), gas-inflatable for deployment. The inflatable parabolic reflector (100) includes a triggerable support structure formed of shape memory alloy wires (104) coupled to the balloon component to support it in the inflated configuration, a power supply system (110) operably coupled to the triggerable support structure, at least one pressure sensor (106) for monitoring gas pressure inside the balloon component, and a control unit (112) in communication with the pressure sensor (106) and power supply system (110). The control unit (112) monitors pressure loss below a predetermined threshold and regulates the power supply system (110) to activate the triggerable support structure for rigidization of the parabolic reflector (100).
