MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621061072 A) filed by Symbiosis International Deemed University on May 13, 2026, for Animal Intrusion Detection And Alert System For Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation.

Inventors include Neil Cardoz; Rishi Selam; Shriyans Sahoo; Veeraj Kumar Sahu; and Dr. Shivali Amit Wagle.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT ANIMAL INTRUSION DETECTION AND ALERT SYSTEM FOR HUMAN-WILDLIFE CONFLICT MITIGATION A multimodal wildlife intrusion detection apparatus integrates an acoustic branch comprising audio acquisition module (100), preprocessing module (101), ResNet classification module (102), and decision module (103) with a visual branch comprising video acquisition module (104), video preprocessing module (106), annotation module (107), training module (108), and deployment integration module (109) executing concurrently on edge graphics processing unit (200). A meta-model classifier module (110) applies an asymmetric two-threshold arbitration tree to audio and video confidence values and drives reconfigurable memory partition register (201) to physically resize branch buffers and throttle the visual frame rate upon entry into a watch state. A Fast Application Programming Interface backend (300), event database (301), and notification engine (302) persist validated events and dispatch electronic mail alerts. The apparatus achieves deterministic low-latency multimodal validation suppressing single-modality false alarms with measurable hardware reconfiguration. Industrial application includes agricultural protection, railway corridor safety, and protected wildlife reserve monitoring deployments. [
