Abstract: The invention relates to ergonomic support equipment for yoga, meditation, pranayama and mudra practice, and provides an upper-limb support apparatus having one or two support assemblies with a floor-engaging base, a telescopic support column, a positive height-locking mechanism, a multi-axis positioning mechanism, and an anatomically optimized convertible support cradle. The cradle includes a primary load-bearing basin, an elevated medial containment wing, a lower lateral stabilization wing, a forearm transition platform, and pressure-relief contouring, optionally with cushioning, to support an elbow region, a forearm region, or both while keeping the hand free near facial level. Compared with existing improvised arm rests or fixed supports, the apparatus offers stable, adjustable, multi-posture, unilateral or bilateral support for floor sitting, bench use, chair sitting, and wheelchair use, thereby improving comfort, alignment, and sustained practice.
