MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073611 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for An Oxygen-Eliminated Immersion Battery Enclosure System And Method Thereof.
Inventor includes Ankur Jain.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT AN OXYGEN-ELIMINATED IMMERSION BATTERY ENCLOSURE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF An oxygen-eliminated immersion battery enclosure system (100) and method (200) thereof are disclosed. The system (100) comprises an enclosure (102) defining a sealed internal chamber (104), one or more electrochemical cells (106) disposed within the sealed internal chamber (104), and a dielectric liquid (108) surrounding the one or more electrochemical cells (106). The dielectric liquid (108) occupies substantially the entire volume of the sealed internal chamber (104) to substantially eliminate gaseous headspace (130) and maintain the sealed internal chamber (104) substantially devoid of free oxygen. The method (200) comprises positioning (202) the one or more electrochemical cells (106) within the enclosure (102), introducing (204) the dielectric liquid (108) to substantially eliminate gaseous headspace (130), and sealing (206) the enclosure (102) to form the sealed internal chamber (104). The disclosed system and method reduce oxygen availability within the enclosure and reduce fire-propagation risk in electrochemical energy storage systems. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
