MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611102876 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University on August 26, 2026, for An Oxygen Controlled Medication Storage Device For Biologic Stability Preservation.

Inventors include Dr. Gaurav Sharma; and Dr. Ritu Gilhotra.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: An oxygen-controlled medication storage device (100) is disclosed for preserving stability of biologic medications. The device comprises a storage chamber (110), sealing member (122), oxygen sensor (140), controller (150), and gas-management assembly (160) having an inert-gas reservoir (162) and electrically controlled valve (166). The controller (150) compares detected oxygen concentration with predetermined thresholds and selectively introduces inert gas through a gas inlet (170) to reduce oxygen exposure. A temperature sensor (180), alarm unit (192), user interface (190), and data-logging module (194) may further provide monitoring, notification, and storage-condition traceability.
