Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic orthodontic toothbrush (100) comprising a - shaped brush head (102) configured to encompass substantially an entire dental arch for 'simultaneous whole-mouth cleaning. The brush head includes a plurality of food- grade silicone bristles (104) arranged along facial, lingual. and occlusal surfaces. wherein the facial bristles are angulated at approximately 45 degrees and have a length of about 6 mm for effective cleansing of cervical and gingival regions. Occlusal bristles of reduced height about 3 mm to 4 mm are provided for debridement of chewing surfaces. A clearance gap (110) of approximately 5 mm is formed on the facial surface to accommodate orthodontic brackets and archwires without compromising appliance integrity. The brush head is detachably coupled through a connector interface (106) to a rechargeable vibratory motor unit handle (108) operating in a frequency range of about 100 Hz to 500 Hz. thereby enabling automated plaque removal with reduced brushing effort and improved oral hygiene for orthodontic patients.
