Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a force-guided orthodontic corrector (100) for simultaneous bimaxillary protrusion correction that comprises an upper bite block (102) configured to be positioned on a maxillary dental arch and guide maxillary positioning, a lower bite block (104) configured to be positioned on a mandibular dental arch to form a reverse twin block assembly (106), and a plurality of upper hooks (108) and lower hooks (110) arranged to define a force application interface. The corrector (100) further comprises a set of intraoral elastics (112) configured to generate an intermaxillary force and a headgear assembly (114) comprising a facebow(116), a head strap (118), and a force element (120) configured to apply an upward and posterior force to the maxillary structure, wherein the intermaxillary force is directed along a predefined vector passing substantially through a center of resistance of the maxillary structure to enable simultaneous dentoskeletal repositioning and effective correction of bimaxillary protrusion.
