Abstract: An oral drug delivery system for night time therapy is disclosed. After bedtime administration, the dosage form limits premature drug release during an initial gastrointestinal phase and subsequently permits activation after a predetermined lag period. The system provides delayed, pulsatile, or post lag controlled release aligned with nocturnal or early morning therapeutic requirements while improving patient convenience and dosing compliance.
