Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an offline multi-evidence and provenance-linked Android APK malware detection and security analysis system (100) comprising a local user interface (102), read-only APK intake and hashing module (104), APK structure and manifest parser (106), permission and manifest evidence analyzer (108), signing certificate evidence analyzer (110), local RAT/IOC signature scanner (112), evidence normalization and provenance layer (114), multi-evidence risk correlation engine (116), resource-aware staged scan controller (118), versioned offline rule-pack manager (120), evidence report and forensic package generator (122), and educational forensic mode (124). An APK is locally received, opened read-only, structurally validated, and cryptographically identified. Manifest, permission, signing, structural, and RAT/IOC evidence is extracted in stages, normalized with provenance, and correlated to generate a risk score and category. The staged controller selectively performs deeper inspection, while the versioned rule pack supports reproducible offline analysis. An evidence-linked forensic package records the APK hash, findings, provenance, risk contributions, rule-pack version, and scan metadata, providing traceable and resource-aware security analysis without cloud dependency.
